Technology for Energy Corp Receives Low-Rate Initial Production Purchase Order Following Successful Prototype Development
Knoxville, Tennessee, August 11, 2026 — Technology for Energy Corp (TEC) announces that the United States Navy has issued a Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) purchase order following the successful development, testing, and demonstration of TEC’s advanced balancing and vibration monitoring system.
Developed under the ACES Systems brand, the Viper Integrated Maintenance System (VIMS) is engineered to enhance and expand the capabilities of the existing diagnostic systems currently deployed on LCAC craft. The LRIP award marks a major milestone for the program, confirming the system’s readiness and validating the transition from prototype to initial production.
During the Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) phase, TEC designed, built, and delivered the first operational prototype to the prime contractor, demonstrating performance, reliability, and alignment with Navy mission requirements.

The LRIP order authorizes the manufacture and delivery of eight production units and establishes the foundation for additional procurement as future phases of the program advance.
